DJ Camilo, known as the International Club King and Party Rocker, is a prominent figure in the entertainment scene. Originally hailing from Queens, New York, this talented artist, who started his musical journey as Juan Camilo Sanchez, discovered his passion for turntables at a young age of 12. His foray into the music world began with his first mixtape in the 1990s named "CAMILO Vol. 1." Bolstered by the positive reception, DJ Camilo proceeded to release monthly mixtapes, swiftly building a reputation within the vibrant New York City club circuit.

By 2001, DJ Enuff, a respected industry veteran and former DJ for the iconic Notorious B.I.G., recognized DJ Camilo's talent. DJ Enuff worked at Hot 97, the renowned hip-hop radio station in New York City. In collaboration with the late DJ Threat, DJ Enuff extended an invitation to DJ Camilo to join their esteemed DJ collective, The Heavy Hitters.
